Bring a Tide Book! The Salt Chuck is impounded by a spit of rocks that is traversable by boat only at high tide. Be aware that the current is very strong except at slack tide.

Cabin was in excellent condition and stove works fine. Plan on using 1-2 gallons of oil per day in cold weather. Unfortunately, the boat is in disrepair, unsafe, and not useable, with bad leaks and cracks. It has been abused, not maintained for years. It needs to be taken back to Petersburg for welding. Also, the oars are missing.
