Barber cabin is a favorite. It’s an easy hike in and has a lot of things to do in the area like watching the fish jump the falls and going canoeing to see the beavers and swans.

The canoe is tippy. We wish there was a rowboat as we had little kids that liked to fish so it was safer

The cabin is very modern and clean. The location on the lake right where it should be. Surrounding mountains are magical . Easy access by foot. It takes about an hour and ten minutes from the trailhead of the lower parking lot to get to the cabin. There is trout in the lake if you like to fish. I would definitely stay again.
