Excellent quick get away from town. We went in on a 14.8ft tide with a prop and barely made it in so a 15ft tide or more is definitely recommended like they say. Cabin was cozy but there is a pretty good gap around the front door and upstairs “draw cord” window which would be nice if they were a little more air tight which would save on the amount of wood you need to burn. There was a flock of maybe 5,000 snow geese on the far end that was pretty amazing to watch. Bring at least 2 anchors so you can make sure you skiff sets down in the slough in the right orientation.

Beautiful location! Clean cabin and lots of dry firewood.
