The campground and bathrooms are exceptionally clean. There was only one other camper in the campground this time so everything was nice and peaceful. The campground was beautiful. A pile of firewood was already stacked near the fire pit for us. The water there is delicious! We will definitely come again.

Communication to me regarding the changes made to the campground has been very poor and the service because of the cutbacks affected our stay. They installed an outhouse in one of the main camp areas, leaving 3 spots rather than 4. That outhouse was not serviced with toilet paper, but luckily we had some in our trailer. There is no longer any garbage collection bins which means that we had to haul out our own garbage and there is a herd of cows that are able to come right into the campground leaving cow pies all over the campground. We have been coming up to this area for 58 years so these changes should have been communicated to us prior to our stay. We have a Golden Passport that is not accepted in the group area which means our campground in twice as much as the camp spots below. We received several reservation reminders about our stay, which is very helpful, but no where in these reminders did it advise us of the changes and the website specifically says that one of the amenities is garbage collections. This whole experience was very frustrating.
