Very beautiful well kept cabin with power and water. Just be aware there is NO cell service at this location. Also, remember to take your fishing poles! 😁

We’ve enjoyed renting the Tucannon Guard Station for many years and we’ve always appreciated its rustic charm. This last visit, we found the cabin to be quite a bit dirtier than in past years. And, there are no working smoke detectors upstairs. Perhaps this neglect is due to the current funding issues. Regardless, I would hope the smoke detector issue gets resolved for the sake of safety. We left the cabin much cleaner than we found it and hope that future renters take care of it so that we can all fully enjoy its charm for many more years.
