We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It’s been beautifully decorated while still keeping that cozy cabin-in-the-woods charm. The setting is peaceful, with a quaint little river just steps away that quickly became one of our favorite spots. My 2- and 4-year-old nieces had so much fun throwing pine cones into the water, and it made for some simple, memorable family moments. One of the best parts was the location next to the first come first serve campground where the rest of our family was staying. We were able to easily walk back and forth between the cabin and the campground with my two young nieces, making it the perfect setup for everyone to spend time together while still having the comfort and privacy of the cabin. The managers have clearly put a lot of work into updating the property. We know the cabin had dealt with some rodent issues in the past, but it was obvious they took the issue seriously. The cabin was freshly cleaned, and the kitchen was stocked with brand-new utensils, pots, pans, plates, and other essentials. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and ready for guests. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature with easy access to a nearby campground for larger family gatherings, this is a fantastic choice. Bring you cleaning supplies cause this place is full of mouse turds. The logging trucks roll by all hours of the night with their Engine Brake full blast, which shakes the cabin like a meteor is about to end the world.
