This was an awesome home and location. It was well appointed, and we appreciated staying in the quiet countryside. We recommend getting a guide for Gettysburg since it's huge.

This was the first time we were able to stay here. The house was beautiful and historic. The area was quiet. You do have hikers and NPS coming through occasionally as the trail runs right through. It is NOT handicapped accessible, many steep stairs. You are not allowed to leave the property at night, so if you are someone thinking of "ghost hunting" on the battlefield don't bother. The kitchen looked new and had everything, the bedrooms were comfortable and the WiFi worked well. There is no TV, but if you are on a laptop, you can stream stuff. The only thing we wished for was a washer and dryer. We ended up going to a laundromat in town, which was time consuming. Overall we loved it and hopefully will be back.

The house was charming and authentic, right in the center of Union and Confederate lines. There were six family members and the house accommodated us nicely. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful house with comfortable beds, a nice location, and wifi! Right in the middle of everything. A great way to spend a weekend with friends, would be interested to visit the other properties based off my experience with this one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint historic home. It was such a pleasure to have a leisurely breakfast and walk the property before setting off for the day. The surrounding area is so peaceful that I didn’t want to leave. Close to town and the museum center. Highly recommend the private car tour, the Dobbin House Tavern and restaurant. Hope to stay here again!!

Excellent location with an amazing history. House itself is very well kept and comfortable. We were able to walk more of the battlefield than our normal hikes being in the middle of this incredible location
