A view that goes on forever plus—WOW—MANY, MANY stars. May come back with my telescope! I was terribly afraid that I would miss out on this opportunity due to govt chaos. You guys came through with flying colors. You made me proud, both as someone who’s worked with the USFS in the past and as an American who is just deeply, deeply grateful for you all making a very short respite with a few trees and a tremendous view possible! Cabin kitchen stuff was equipped excellent. Refrigerator works great. Recommended to others.

Great view from the cabin. The goomed trail was easy to XC ski on. We had a heads-up that the heater was temporarily broken so we came prepared and were cozy. The bathroom door had frozen partially open so there was lots of snow inside. Can't wait to go again.

Great cozy cabin with stunning views. Beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked well. Awesome place to spend a glamping weekend.

Great place to spend a couple nights! We enjoyed a wide range of weather that really kept things interesting - rain, fog, sunshine, dramatic clouds, double rainbows. Our days were spent exploring the surrounding area, doing short hikes and sitting around the fire. The stove and fridge were very convenient. We couldn’t get the heater to light even with careful attention to the instructions and prior experience with this type of heater. Also, the gas lamps would quickly set off the carbon monoxide alarm, even with a couple windows cracked open a few inches. The storm shutters weren’t in the best condition and would smack loudly against the walls in windy weather. That said, all the minor faults added up to a very memorable experience for my wife and I. We loved the beauty of the area and seeing the occasional coyote, deer, and song bird. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

This is a cozy, safe & beautiful escape in the beautiful blues.
