This was my first time staying here, but third time in the area. Definitely a great stay! Reasonably clean and comfortable. Nice and quiet, except for occasional cows yelling at each other.

The sunrise and sunset views from this spot are among the best in the Umatilla National Forest.

Always enjoy staying here, and this time was no different. The weather was excellent, and the facility was clean and kept up. There was very little traffic which was nice. Beautiful view, and the night skies were beautiful with the stars. Some suggestions - the broom was broken and had not been replaced. There was no utility lighter for the stove and lights, and the cabin needed a fly swatter as there are lots of flies and bees.

We hiked in for President's Day weekend with minimal snow. We were able to drive to the sno park with our SUV, and there was just enough snow from there to pull sleds to the cabin. The area had gotten several inches of snow earlier in the week luckily. We got to the cabin in about two hours and found everything in excellent order. No trouble turning on oven, lights, fireplace, etc. We brough water but also melted some. It began snowing on our hike in and dropped several inches overnight so we woke up to a true winter wonderland. We xc skied on Sunday, read, napped, and ate. Hiked out on Monday. We did not see another soul the entire weekend. It was truly magical.

I wish I could have stayed longer, it was a very nice cabin and well taken care of cabin, barely saw anybody else up there, but we went in the beginning of Oct, definitely will come back.

Amazing cabin! Clean, cozy , and beautiful views! One HUGE MINUS! No privacy! Non-stop traffic up to the cabin, people have no respect for those who rented the cabin to relax. Imagine how you'd feel if 15 people a day came to the cabin to walk their dogs, use the restroom, and also to see the cabin inside. Really disappointed about it. A gate with a sign saying "occupants only" is REALLY needed PLEASE! There was also the noise of a chainsaw next to the cabin; I'm not sure they are cutting down trees legally. Hunters with guns were driving around hunting animals, and it was right next to the cabin on the hills where we were walking, which is completely unsafe.

we had a great time! Place was clean and cozy! Stove worked too well! Had to open windows. Really enjoyed our time. Wonderful space and terrific views.

Great cabin and area. Things were clean and plenty of cooking supplies.

Great cabin. Awesome view. Other than the creepy guy camped down the road who used our outhouse around midnight.
