The cabin is great! unfortunately when we visited it was really cold, when we got there it was -9F and it stayed very cold, the rest of the stay. The wood stove works well, but we didn't do as much outside as we had liked. Lovely spot. We will come back later when is warmer.

We have been enjoying the Big Creek cabin and many of the other cabins around the state for the past 27 years!! Sadly they've become so popular they are so very, very hard to book! We are very thankful that we were able to go during this unfortunate time in the world's history!! We left it cleaner than we found it and hopefully that trend will continue!! Looking forward to visiting this beautiful place again, hopefully next year!! Sorry to see that people have abused the privilege of having easy access to wood for a fire by stealing it!! Nice, old cabin adjacent to the creek. Beautiful location and well maintained. Be sure to bring a campstove if you do not have enough time to wait for the wood cookstove to heat up.
