If lucky enough to get this spot, congrats. It is very historical. It would be cool to have a volunteer week/weekend to spruce up this aging gem. Everything is good. Lots of memories. Nice location for hiking.

I almost don't want to leave a glowing review because I want to keep it a secret so it's not always reserved, haha! Our little family enjoyed a beautiful day playing games, playing with icy puddles near the creek, taking beautiful photos, and visiting with hikers along the trail. We especially appreciated the lack of internet and phone service. The kitchen was well stocked, the heating was efficient, and the beds were comfortable. We wished there was a firepit we could have used.

We loved our time at Crescent Moon!!! I was fortunate enough to live at the Crescent Moon Ranch 25 years ago when the Forest Service used it for volunteer housing and it brought back so many wonderful memories to return to such an amazing house that has been kept in such fantastic condition. This was a girl's trip and the house was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone and the spacious great room where we spent our mornings and nights before and after exploring beautiful Sedona was comfortable and relaxing. I only have good things to say about the experience and hope to stay again sometime!
