The place is great!! We fished with our boat, had camp fires each night and enjoyed the great property! The bunk room for the kids is a great idea. The only reason I ranked it 3 out of 5 is because we did have issues with rats in the cabin. Each night we did see them in the bathroom and once in the dining room. It was reported to the office.

The cabin was beautiful but the cleaning crew do not do a good job at cleaning after each visitor. Some maintenance need to be done to the cabin like fixing the fan above the kitchen, fixing the light under the microwave, one of the pull out couches is broken and multiple light bulbs were out. I would have felt safer if there was a bolt that I can lock from the inside when I was sleeping since every visitor uses the same key I felt a bit unsafe with the fact that there was not a latch or an inside lock I could use while me and my family were sleeping. One last thing is that on the paperwork that I received when I made my reservation it said that there were 2 queen size beds and 4 twin beds. When I arrived at the cabin there were 1 queen size bed, 4 twin size beds and 2 pull out couches. The Pioneer village was a great little place to go and visit. The springs are amazing.
