I had stayed at the Double Bay cabin about 25 years ago and had fond memories of the stay. I was glad to see that it was still there and fairly well maintained. We brought a lot of firewood so were able to keep quite warm all night. We let our boat go dry lower down the beach and floated off fine on our departure day. We had a great time and cooked a great dinner. The cabin offers some good terrain from which to start a deer hunt.

Great stay! The diesel stove keeps the place toasty. Don't forget to bring a lantern like we did.
