Had a fabulous “gals weekend” ! Cabin itself was clean and in good repair, plenty of dry firewood, and such a nice beach. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of trash under and around cabin…..toilet paper around the perimeter and cans in the firepit on the beach that we cleaned up. Think maybe this cabin gets some unpaid for use as we had a couple of boats pull up close and when they saw we were there they made an abrupt turn around.

One of the bunk beds is very broken. Needs to be repaired soon or it will continue to deteriorate. Otherwise our stay was awesome.

This cabin's strengths are the solid construction, square footage, and front deck. It's also nice to have so many windows to provide natural light. If there is a north wind through the night with your boat anchored out, double check to make sure it is secure. One thing I'd like is for the Forest Service to replace the rope seal on the wood stove door. Parts of it have worn away and the door lets in a lot of air; one ends up going through more firewood through the stay (which I can't think that the Forest Service wants to have happen). With the door not properly sealing, the damper is ineffective as well.
