Great Cabin and experience! We go to this same cabin every few years and it just gets better every time! The hike was sad due to all the burn area but getting better every year. Thanks for another great time!

11/1 - 11/2/22 Cabin was in great shape. Lake was frozen but small feeder creeks around lake were easy to get water from. There was plenty of kindling wood in cabin and in woodshed but no extra split wood for wood stove (I split one night's worth before leaving). There is a great hand saw to cut rounds, an okay hand saw to limb with, and two splitting mauls. Lots of dead and down trees from Swan Lake fire near cabin to cut for fire wood

Walked in from bean creek, the new construction access makes it much simpler to drive in to the trail. Still lots of downed dead wood from the fire and beetle kill so acquiring wood is easy. The lake was in the process of freezing while we were there so we weren't able to ice skate very much but the northern lights were a bonus!

Amazing location! Pretty flat backpacking trip, especially if you access it by the Bean Creek trail. I can’t wait to go back!

Juneau Lake Cabin is perched on a hill above the lake with a beautiful and secluded vantage point. It's a perfect distance from Cooper Landing to make it in one day, although I camped near Trout Lake on my first night. The cabin was clean and had plenty of firewood available. The complimentary canoe was a bonus! I couldn't have been happier for a warm, dry space to spend the night, happy to be indoors on my second rainy night on the trail. Because it's on a hill, be prepared to put in some extra elevation for water, canoeing, and access to the trail. It's only an issue if you have tired muscles from your journey getting there. I loved it! Listened to a family of Loons and saw a float plane practice land on the lake and take off again. The deck was a great spot to take in the utter quietness. I definitely want to come back.

Juneau Lake Cabin was the first cabin we stayed at from the south to north (Cooper Landing to Hope) trail on the Resurrection Pass. While we hiked the entire trail this time, we would go back to just stay at Juneau Lake Cabin in the future. It is a nicely designed cabin in a beautiful spot. The cabin sits perched on top of a hill with a view of the lake and an opportunity to see and hear the loons. There are also two canoes (with life jackets) that you can use. There were four of us traveling but the cabin can easily fit six. We highly recommend this cabin!

Cabin is in great shape, as is the tail getting there. Porch views are out of this world, we sat there and watched a moose walk by, black bears on the other side of the lake, eagles fly by, a beaver on our hike out in the morning. The canoes, life jackets, and oars provided are an excellent bonus to the trip! Will definitely be back!

Love this cabin. Spent a couple of nights in the summer and came back in the winter. Great scenery and toasty when the fireplace is going.
