Coyote Point is a great spot for group camping! Toilet was nice! Wish there were a couple more shade trees. We had to shoo away the deer at night. The only thing I didn’t like were the tiny leeches that got on our feet when we went in the lake.

The bathrooms were filthy & had actual feces all over. It was disgusting!

I wish the reservation experience was easier. It's literallly impossible to reserve weekend unless you set your clock a year ahead. Don't like the random people that come walk through exploring the site, either walking or the bikers. We have seen some sketchy people walk through, as if they are looing for something. I love how it's your own island, having your own shore for boats and jet skiis. Since it holds 50 people, great for family reunions and celebrating events while camping. Dog friendly and they clean the restrooms on a regular basis. We have been coming here for years, but lately really hard to reserve now. Rangers are friendly as well!

Thoroughly enjoyed Coyote Point! It was especially nice with the lake level FULL! My only complaint is I wish they would make it available throughout the year and not only May to Sept.

Every time we come here we have a great experience and the last visit was no exception. The park rangers are very responsive to questions and the camp area is clean when we arrive. One of my favorite places to camp in California!
