Great ski in the week of Christmas. Cabin was comfortable, cozy. A posted sign of orientation could be helpful. I was initially unclear the she’d had the same code and the axe was in the shed (I wanted to leave the porch stocked with wood.) the only disappointment was there was no propane lantern (I thought I saw somewhere there was supposed to be). Overall great experience though. Thanks!

I love how quiet it is at Hogan Cabin. The stars are phenomenal. The cabin is very small but heats up quickly with the wood stove. The outhouse was super clean and convenient. The cribbage board and cards and other supplies were a nice surprise. The trail in from Trail Creek is flat but very rutted from snowmachines and not recommended for beginner skiers. The easiest way would be through the Chief Joseph XC ski trails for beginners.
