This is a beautiful place to camp because of the accessibility to the lake via the docks. However, people are constantly docking next to your boat, climbing the hill, and walking directly through our reserved camp area to use the bathroom. All of our personal belongings are out for someone to easily grab. The dock needs to be clearer on stating that it is reserved and private for the period of time it is being rented for $116/night. We have rented this site before and there were signs to indicate who was renting it, although it didn't stop people from using the bathroom. BUT, the absolute WORST part of all are the disgusting, odorous, and overflowing bathrooms. This campsite is supposedly able to support 40 guests. I can tell you that this is absolutely not the case. It could scarcely support one more bathroom use as the toilet was full and almost approaching the toilet rim. Several members of our party were so disturbed and disgusted by the unsanitary condition of this bathroom, that we had to make several trips to the marina each day for relief. At gas prices the way they are, this was an expensive task. It looked as if the campers prior to us had relieved themselves in the woods instead of braving the nasty toilets. We tried for several days to contact someone to come clean via phone call, but there was no voicemail set up. Once we were home, we were able to get in contact with someone who answered and said that the cleaning crew boat was not functional. Please get this place into the condition where it needs to be. It's a shame that no one takes care of the bathrooms.

There are no camp hosts. The camp is very dirty, and the toilet is beyond anything you'd see in a horror movie. Good luck if someone is camped there during your reservation... No one will help sort that out. I believe the contractor host is American Land and Leisure. They've abandoned the Hideout Camp months ago as well. The staff assigned to this location do not have the tools to do their job. They do not have enough (any) staff. The outhouse needs serious attention! The composting levels have reached the floor level. If you are going to charge $116. a night you have a responsibility to maintain the campground in a sanitary level.

The dock and the site were very nice and the location is awesome, but the toilet was very full and very smelly they could definitely do a better job at keeping it clean, other wise great place!!!
