We just stayed one night and did campfire and the experience was good. Nice little house off the main road with every basic needs (kitchen and accessories). Basic cell phone service is there and its good. Couple of suggestions: 1) Taking the car near the house is a challenge. If someone reaches after sunset, they will get confused. Had to pass through the 2 rocks and that's not easy to pass through. Should make the passage little more broad 2) Heaters were not heating much but we managed. Could upgrade the heaters.

This was a last minute end-of season trip, and luckily the Sly Guard Cabin was available. We spent the weekend there and went to Apple Hill. It’s a great location for kids and anyone looking for an outdoor-lite experience.

This is an excellent cabin for 2. It is a very clean rustic cabin. It has 2 excellent trails around the property. Also the lake Jenkinson lake is 1 mile away across from Jenkinson lake is a little store making everything convenient. For your main big shopping I would go to Holiday market . We have travel to Apple Hill which is about 6 miles away a great place to spend the day . I would recommend this cabin for adults.
