A bonus for this particular location is the wi-fi available (from the nearby visitor's center, I believe.) That said, the proximity to the visitor's center (about 100 yards away) may impinge on the feeling of seclusion some may be seeking. It all depends what it is you are looking for. We also recommend checking out nearby Rose Canyon Lake (about 3 miles down the mountain from the cabin). It's a small, 6-acre lake but is very pretty and stocked with fish. There are plenty of nice campsites there, too (but no cabins that I am aware of).

Comfortably appointed and rustic. Do miss having a fireplace for ambiance. Close to the lake and to Summerhaven and a variety of good hiking trails. Thank you

Nice accommodation a few miles north of Rose Canyon Lake. The cabin had a lot of the main items you’d need like a stove, fridge, microwave, an outdoor grille. Area was nice and quiet and dark in the evening. Our family of 5 really enjoyed the stay.

Staying at the cabin was such a wonderful, restful time under the pines. The fenced backyard made it easy for us to travel with our English Setters, who loved their walks down Organization Road. The cabin itself has a pretty well-stocked kitchen, so we didn't need to bring as much stuff as we did -- but it was our first time! And, the wifi signal is awesome, which made up for no cell service.
