This lookout had the best views out of the 6 others I visited this season. Don’t overlook the fact that there is not a bed. Also, there is not a picnic table which made meal prep a little more challenging.

Amazing place to stay! The views were incredible and the stars were so bright at night. Loved it and would love to do it again. Just make sure to follow the directions on the recreation.gov website. Do not trust google maps. It will take you on a wild journey :)

Acorn Woman Lookout was amazing! One of the cleanest fire towers I’ve stayed in. Had an incredible view of the stars at night & the most perfect weather during the day. The last mile up to the tower had some pretty sharp turns but plenty of room to navigate them so don’t panic! Would love to visit again :)
