Kinda spooky but also its a frontier homestead...kinda gonna be. Had a lovely overnight stay! Saw a moose the next morning and tons of quail. 10 out 10 would stay here again...I'd live there if they let me lol.

Amazing little homestead. Instructions for getting in and how to start the fireplace were right on. We brought our own firewood bc we were told there was a fireplace and an outdoor fire pit, but did not need to. The Forest Service supplied plenty of wood for the indoor fireplace and outdoor pit. Be aware that you need to bring your own water (there is a well pump out front but the sign says it is not potable), we did use it to wash dinnerware and hands. You also need to bring your own bedding for 2 Queen beds and 1 twin. There is a no shower and the toilet is outside in the shed. The Rock Creek water was to high but we fished off the edges and did very well. The story of The Morgan Case Homestead is truly wonderful. We will def be back Thank You Forest Service and Rangers
