Bathrooms were clean and we loved the location. It was secluded enough to be very quiet but not too far from town. The creek is very clean and beautiful--we saw several crayfish and salamanders. We did have a weird incident with a guy on a dirt bike racing through the campsite with a machete attached to his back. He arrived via 1 of the hiking trails, zipped through the campsite and left. We didn't see him again. We would definitely camp here again, hopefully dirt bike guy does not return lol.

We absolutely love this campground. Very private and convenient with the creek running next to you, with some nice trails and natural pools close by. Definitely take the creek crossing seriously, best to cross in a truck or SUV... they really should put a bridge there or something. My only con is how hard it is to figure out how/when to reserve the campsite in the mid summer months. Every time I check its either not released yet, closed, or check out only. We'd love to come back here but it seems like a fight to get a spot for most of the year :(

Take the guidance on the creek crossing seriously. Even in extended periods of no rain, the creek is still impassible with low clearance vehicles sedans and minivans. Overall, it’s a beautiful and secluded site perfect for a getaway in the woods!

The field was clean, the outhouse was clean, the well pump work fine. The main factor that time of the year is always weather and we had 3 days of perfect weather.
