Awesome tower, very clean and well equipped with some new propane appliances. Tons of deer and wildlife wandering around and so so quiet. The Kootenai rangers do an awesome job taking care of their lookouts and this one is no exception.

Great place to stay and watch the beautiful views, both day and night! Couldn't get the pilot to light for the heater, but other than that it was a fun place to stay!

Have been going up to Mt Baldy Buckhorn Range for almost 30 years and staying in the tower for 10 or 15 years. Except for the awful fire year in Canada in 2018, both the day time views and the starry night views are impressive plus large and small animal sightings. Accommodations are pleasant and the cook stove is a huge asset.
