Nice small cabin with a useful layout and beautiful views. Upkeep is lacking, only one of the 3 gas lights were working and the control for it did not so once you hit the main you better keep it burning or it will pour propane into the cabin. Despite a 50% raise in price after covid hit, these poor cabins are being ignored by their stewards. The bathroom was in good shape and wood was still stocked in late March. The creek is easily accessed 40yards from the cabin for tasty water. Heard snowmobiles most days there but they didn't bother us, just buzzed by.

We enjoyed our stay very much. One thing you could mention is how to turn on the propane shut off and on located on the outside of the cabin. Definitely bring your LED LIGHTS the light is very dim in the cabin only one works. The little cold box inside the cabin was a great surprise. Be careful tho our stuff started to freeze so we just set the eggs on the counter by the window. The over all experience was fantastic! Nice and cozy ! We pushed all three beds together in the loft and each had our own sleeping Bag .it was super warm we didn’t need to cover up kept fire all night . We definitely will return to this location. Woke up made breakfast and just started our snowmobile Ride for the day.

You might want to bring newspaper for firestarter as well as hand sanitizer. The wood shed door doesn't work well and you can find a screw driver in the kitchen utensil drawer to help crack it open. Actually, 4 out of 4 doors do not work properly. The cabin is about 100 years old and dearly needs a work party.
