The cabin is in very good shape. One of the three beds is completely broken and unusable. The oven is broken and unusable. I brought 3 days of food that all needed to be baked in the oven, that made it impossible to cook.

Shoutout to the bicyclist who let me know that the big NO TRESPASSING sign on the metal gate was actually meant to keep other people out of the guard station area, not me! The instructions say the cabin is visible from the road, but considering that it's a) all brown and b) surrounded by trees, it's not easy to spot in the evenings! The cabin was lovely, clean and with working amenities. My only recommendation is to bring a thick sleeping pad if you intend on using the beds, the larger one was pretty creaky and my fiancé woke up every time I rolled over. Still, it's not enough to deter me from returning to enjoy this lovely cabin. We'll definitely be back!
