We never found the group camping site. Sign pointed to group camping site at a road needing 4 wheel drive and we only had a camper van. Highly recommend finding camp before dark. If I don't see the road sign for Dead man creek rd I would not have believed we were in the right place.

Great group site with 2 bear cabinets, bar height meal prep table, 4 picnic tables, and 2 toilets. Plenty of room at this site as it will easily hold 50 campers in tents. Little hard to find. When you pull off Deadman Creak Rd go straight don't take any left or right turns and there is a sign that says dead end and that's where you are going. Gate code comes in reservation confirmation. You're pretty isolated and some cell service works. Activities are exploring, hiking, and biking. Deadman Creak has trout but the weird creek right by the site disappears into the ground even with a good flow.

Good secluded location, ideal for bigger groups or those who want more privacy when camping. The security door allowed us to feel safe even when alone in the campground. Only issues were getting to the location, the campsite is farther from the road than expected, and it does not help that the road to get here is not paved and full of rocks. However we made it in a Toyota Sienna and a Honda Civic so any car would be able to travel without any problems.
