The cabin was clean and stocked with basics. It does have a mouse odor but that is expected. The best part of Black Butte cabin is the location. It sits near the “ridge road” that runs for miles along the top of Gravely mountain. Monster views. The road is in good condition for ATVs and most vehicles. If you are hiking, biking, or on an ATV beware of the big white dogs that guard the sheep herds.

My son and I really enjoyed our evening at your beautiful cabin. We stayed at Wall Creek last year. They are both clean and well stocked. The night sky at Black Butte was absolutely amazing.

Great spot to stay for a snowmobile trip. Nice bunks with a pad. Wood stove with wood stocked. And plenty of amenities like lanterns, cook stove and dishes. Will definitely be back
