The Bitterroot NF and East Fork Cabin have become my favorite place to just relax for a few days. Just a couple hours away, and the most beautiful scenery you can ask for. It is very peaceful, private, and quiet. I can just sit by the river all day and chill out. Plenty of space to walk around without leaving the property. Now, if I could just get reservations again before the weather turns snowy, it is a popular place, so plan ahead! Enjoy!

Very nice place. I'm glad everyone works so hard to keep it clean. There was a packrat making a big messy nest in the woodshed -- fall is when they do that -- so I let the USFS know. Please be careful not to leave the cabin door open at night, or that nasty sucker will run inside. Kudos to USFS for keeping this rental open and in such good shape!

Very out of the way, very nice cabin. Quiet, peaceful, with the sound of a stream outside. It had power line power (which conflicts with the recreation.gov description which said solar). Only one outlet, but that was all that was needed for my CPAP machine.
