Grand Canyon close….. grand forest peace few miles close. Historic cabin, meadows, meandering elk. Beautiful Toilet close by, roomy rooms, table wear, dishes … sunset beauty. Just so much happy.

Nicely restored cabin in a wonderful forest setting. We were there during the elk mating season and heard much bulgeling!

Great secluded location with lots of wildlife. Had a minor issue with the stove (my daughter says it was the cabin ghost’s fault). The Kaibab National Forest people were very quick to respond - especially Dawn in the Williams office and Zach in the field. The issue was resolved within an hour. We’ll be back!

Great historical cabin in an absolutely beautiful, secluded area. We could have been the only people left on earth as far as privacy. Also provided a quick, easy access to visit the less populated vistas of the (east) South Rim. I've lived in AZ for 45 years and first time to this part of the South Rim and the exquisite Desert View Watchtower.
