Very nice camping area for family getaway.

The campsite had been cleaned more so than in past years I don't know if it was a previous campers picking up after themselves or the forestry service picking up trash but it was good. There are always going to be cigarette butts which is unfortunate but there was plenty of toilet paper in the restrooms and the garbage bags were empty when we got there

All the trash cans were totally full. Bathrooms were not cleaned. Had to have some guy kicked out by forestry when we got there. Tried to say he rented the place and was camping. Why I had to wait until 3pm to enter Bucklake is beyond me. I've rented Bucklake several times. Don't think I will again.

Great location and having our lake front was wonderful. Though be aware of ticks and grass bugs.

Everything was great! The location is very clean. Plan on having your fire in the only ring, at the main gathering area. All the picnic tables are there too. The trail around the lake is a nice easy walk!
