was told 5 days or so prior that cabin was closed due to flash flood. still waiting on refund, very difficult to speak to someone directly

I love the location and the cabin is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the cabin is infested with mice so we had night visitors so we had to be very careful with dog food and anything else edible. I was also disappointed in the quality of wood in the garage. It was too green to split even with a good axe. It was crazy seeing axe marks in the firewood rounds from previous guests attempts to split them. I may have to rethink my Idaho plans in the future.

Wish this was still a some what secret spot. It’s so hard to find openings. Love this place been going for 13 years at least .

We have stayed here a few times and we have always had a good relaxing time

This is a well-maintained property with plenty of outdoor activities nearby to enjoy! Bonneville hot springs, a natural hot spring spilling out of the side of the mountain with several pools below to catch it, is located a mile or so East up Warm Springs Creek, and there are several hiking and motorized trails close by including the Sawtooth Mountains and Grandjean. The South Fork of the Payette River is located a few hundred feet from the front door, so don't forget a fishing pole! Sourdough Lodge is a few miles downstream where you can pick up some limited supplies, grab a bite to eat from their kitchen (watch for seasonal hours), and check in with the world via their wi-fi and tv if you want. There is some private property around the general area, so please respect the no-trespassing signs, the locals don't mess around up there.

Awesome place to stay -- peaceful and beautiful area. Interesting things to see in the area.

Place is showing a lot of wear and tear. Could use a deep cleaning. Not adequate firewood. No lock combo for wood shed. Still a great place to visit
