We have stayed here a few times and we have always had a good relaxing time

This is a well-maintained property with plenty of outdoor activities nearby to enjoy! Bonneville hot springs, a natural hot spring spilling out of the side of the mountain with several pools below to catch it, is located a mile or so East up Warm Springs Creek, and there are several hiking and motorized trails close by including the Sawtooth Mountains and Grandjean. The South Fork of the Payette River is located a few hundred feet from the front door, so don't forget a fishing pole! Sourdough Lodge is a few miles downstream where you can pick up some limited supplies, grab a bite to eat from their kitchen (watch for seasonal hours), and check in with the world via their wi-fi and tv if you want. There is some private property around the general area, so please respect the no-trespassing signs, the locals don't mess around up there.

Place is showing a lot of wear and tear. Could use a deep cleaning. Not adequate firewood. No lock combo for wood shed. Still a great place to visit

This place was awesome!! It was our first time, but won’t be the last. The cabin came equipped with all your necessities, including plenty of board games and all the cookware you’d need. It was super clean and came with several previous guest books which gave us the insight of how others had spent their time as well. It was fun reading everyone’s entries! The air strip was occupied by firefighters and gave our kiddo plenty of entertainment during the evening when they were all arriving back at ‘base’ by waving and turning on their lights. Highly recommend this little piece of heaven!

The screens on the doors and windows need replacing, and the small bedroom window needs to be fixed. Mattress covers on the beds would be greatly appreciated because the beds are full of bugs and mice droppings. This is a beautiful place but needs some work and would help if others left it cleaner than the way they found it! Also, the lock for the gate was missing. Would be nice also if they could get all the sleeping bags, and all the other junk out of the closets and dressers so a person could use them and maybe stop the mice from using it as bedding materials. The bathroom located behind the house was very clean and had no unpleasant odors. Bonniville hot springs is a wonderful place to spend the day relaxing. Enjoy your stay at this beautiful location.
