It was a beautiful and secluded getaway. The house is a gem and while it is in a state of constant improvement, the people whom have contributed their time in skill to preserve this great place are to be commended. It is not a 5 star hotel but if you love old architecture and can appreciate a giant effort at preservation this is a wonderful place. Ranger Sherman and the caretakers were very friendly and helpful. We loved every minute.

Everything about this place was awesome!!! Rented the house from Thursday to Sunday for our daughter wedding!! They are in the process of remodeling, but they made it completely perfect for her day! Thank you so much! The house accommodated our entire wedding party! We used the shelter for the reception. Everything was absolutely perfect! If you are considering having a wedding here, you have came to the right spot!!! We will certainly be staying here more. I see reunions, birthday parties and more in our future at this house!

My husband and I rented this place from Thursday till Sunday for our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful from day one! It’s also very reasonably priced given all the amenities and things included! We want to go back for our first year anniversary! There is plenty of room and sleeping spaces which was great too have!

We rent the Fuch's house every year for our family get together and always have the best time. There is plenty of room in the house for everyone. Our kids have so many great memories of The Fuch's House and Markham Springs area. They fish, go hiking, biking, boat on the beautiful pond and many other outdoor activities. The walking paths and bubbling springs is absolutely gorgeous.
