The cabin took a while to warm up at 10 degrees. Thanks to whoever brought the durlog out there. Finally helped the propane heater catch up. Otherwise a great experience!

Beautiful place to visit in the winter. Had to break trail the whole way but it was worth it. The best part was when we simply rotated the timer switch for the heater and heard the faint "whump" as the propane stove immediately fired up. Gotta love it when people follow the instructions from the Forest Service and leave the pilot light on. Great log book that someone donated too. Fun to read other people's stories about their visit.

The cabin is awesome, but the second half of the trail is a mess.

Cabin was cute at the end of 4.25 mile trek from the trailhead. Propane heat keeps everything toasty, especially when raining outside. Did not get a chance to take the small rowboat out, but appears to be in good condition for early April
