A beautiful place, with a sculpted covering of snow in the meadows.

This is a quaint little cabin nestled in a beautiful valley. We love this cabin! We appreciate that in order to get to the cabin you have to get there via your own power, ie, non-motorized! In our case it was a ski in....it was a beautiful ski in and we appreciate that the Forest Service keeps the route open by cutting out fallen trees. The only negative comment we have is that the wood stove does not seem to work consistently. It would be great to see the stove get some maintenance, or potentially a new small efficient stove. Also, byo toilet paper even though it says tp will be stocked, this was not the case and could be troublesome! Thank you for keeping the cabin experience great!

Glad to see that the cabin survived the Trail Creek fire! This is a wonderful place and I’m very happy to see that the public is taking care of this valuable resource.
