Great cabin,so peaceful

This is a gorgeous location and a nice cabin. It has a great wood burning stove, and a good table and chairs inside.

Such a cool place! Road was in great condition, only saw a couple other people while out there. the cabin is in great shape. We walked up the road that is closed, just past the cabin for about a mile or so and saw moose and deer.

Staying at the Wapiti Cabin is an annual event for our family to celebrate the end of the school year. We enjoy walking up the road to look for wildlife in the Wapiti and Little Wapiti Creeks drainages. The wildflowers are always amazing in June, the weather is warm but not hot. The renovations were a surprise, thanks FS!

Nice, scenic, flat ski into the cabin, about 2 miles from trailhead. There is a set of bunkbeds and two cots for sleeping. Look for the second cot, which may be stowed under the other beds (we found it the second night). We had a wonderful stay!

Love this cabin! Please make sure your fire is out before you leave the cabin!
