Easy to get too, clean and neat, easiest check in and out ever. Needs a lil maintenance on the fireplace handles and equipment. We will be back again

There's so much I love about this cabin: the views, peace and quiet, well-appointed kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, nearby hiking opportunities...the list goes on. The Forest Service does a splendid job of keeping the place ship-shape, and renters seem to do a conscientious job of leaving the place spic-'n-span. I'm so thankful for the USFS cabin rental program, which makes historic/vintage cabins like this one available to the public. I wish there were more of them. The only downside to our visit this time was that some critter was trying to chew through a wall. The upside was that it entertained my dog.

It’s my 3rd time at this sublimely beautiful place. The cabin, and it’s simplicity, allows you to enjoy the surroundings which is one of the more serene and gorgeous environments.

Nice cabin with Beautiful scenery. Solar panel provides lighting which worked through the night. The light for the bathroom only lasted a few hours of the night. We will go again.

A great cabin but avoid in late fall. Leaky windows led to a cold night (16 degrees) even with the fireplace. Next time summer or fall.

Really like this cabin. The setting is lovely. It is a beautiful place to wake up and linger sipping coffee, playing games with your family, or letting the kiddos run wild. Obviously, it is a cabin, so don't expect luxury. It has a nice rustic feel. The only reason I withheld one star is because it is still within hearing of the highway, slightly, and the setting isn't quite as spectacular as some cabins I have stayed in.
