Definitely high clearance access. Jeep was perfect! Would help to have arrow/sign on the final right turn. Lookout was excellent as always!

Great 360 degree views like most lookout towers. The wind wasn't a problem so we were able to enjoy the fire pit at night. The mini fridge and stove top were a nice addition as well. 5/5 experience overall.

Nice place. There are no beds, just two very uncomfortable cots that smell terrible. I've rented tons of lookouts and never seen one without mattresses. Other than that, very nice place

Our night in the lookout was overall great! It’s so peaceful and beautiful to see the surrounding mountains and lakes! When we first arrived, the main door handle fell off as soon as we tried to open the door. My son tried to fix it, but without an actual screw driver, I’m not sure how long it’ll last. Someone needs to fix it properly so that the door can be closed and locked while staying overnight. I’m not sure what or why, but the surface of the table is extremely sticky. We tried cleaning it with soap and water, Clorox wipes, and also 409. Nothing helped. We were happy someone left a roll of paper towels and we used those to make a table cloth. But getting stuck paper off the table was a whole new chore when it was time to leave! The wall heater inside was a really nice surprise! It was rainy and chilly the night we were there so it felt great! The refrigerator was super helpful! There’s no need to take a cooler up the steep stairs. I recommend bringing your own sleep mat/cushion or an air pump for the one that is provided. There are two hard benches and two cots to sleep on. The outside trap door is really heavy. Make sure to close both doors or ensure it’s hooked when open. The wind grabs it if left half open and it bangs shut.
