The cabin was in good order on arrival. This is the second consecutive year at the Upper Crossing Guard Station cabin and 1 previous stay at the Stone Cellar Guard Station cabin. We are hoping to make it an annual family event. We feel it’s a great use of resources and a great value. Encountered staff were friendly and personable. It is our hope that these facilities remain accessible to the public in the long term along with the stunning vistas.

Wonderful cabin, perfect getaway for our family, we had the best time. Beautiful scenery, lots to see and we enjoyed fishing at the dome lakes not too far away. Saw lots of elk, mule deer and waterfowl. We will definitely be back next year.
