Absolutely cozy and wonderful. Wood was well stocked. Mattresses looked new and were very comfortable. Wood worked great and interior of cabin stayed very warm. Inside was very clean and well taken care of. Enjoyed reading the journals of previous visitors. Toilet paper was stocked in the vault toilet. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend this place

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing, beautiful surrounding, nice lake to canoe on. Was surprised,virtually no flying insects. No cellphone service was a plus. Cross country ski trails were nice to hike on. Biking trail not far away. Also in-between to stores and ice cream

Cabin was Awesome. Didn't need snowshoes or skis on trail coming in. Having cut wood for fireplace was great! Cabin stayed warm and toasty. Will definitely be coming back.

We had an amazing time at Mckeever cabin and it exceeded our expectations! The woodstove kept us very warm during winter camping and the cross country ski trails were very well groomed.

The cabin is very dark inside, even on sunny days. Bring extra lights or bright lanterns. The mattresses are more like a box spring. Not very comfortable to sleep on, an additional pad would be helpful for a good nights sleep. On a good note, the mouse problem seems to be corrected, not a single sighting!!
