If I rent again in the fall (after Aug 1) I think I'll always book three nights to ensure I have a reasonably good shot at at least two nights. Otherwise, literal best cabin ever. Except the rowboat oars really suck so bring a motor. :)

The cabin is a beautiful stone and wood cabin in an amazingly beautiful and quiet spot. We loved every minute of it. It is a great location with a short trail to the inlet and so much opportunity for boating and enjoying the great outdoors.

This may have become my new favorite Tongass NF cabin. Incredible location and breathtaking view, excellent seaplane dock for safe mooring, and an amazing historic cabin. We also appreciated the fireplace. Nice job Forest Service. Keep it up and keep those fly-in cabins! A real treasure.
