It was an amazing adventure with an incredible view. However, here are a few things to keep in mind: The stairs are nearly 90 degrees straight up like a steep ladder. There is rotten wood in the deck, watch your step. We couldn't get the cookstove to work. A lot of the interior paint near the windows is peeling (lead?). One of the windows is boarded up.

The lookout was awesome. Everything worked and the view was beautiful. The only bad thing was that despite the locked gate on the road, people still walked down to the lookout. One woman even walked up the stairs with my car right out front! I don’t know what is wrong with people, but if there’s a vehicle at a lookout GO AWAY!
