I Loved visiting Middle Mountain Cabins. It was quite the character building 18.2 to get there. Unfortunately it was complete overcast the night we were there, but I can image the view on the nights sky from that place. I will be back for sure!!

This was an awesome adventure! The cabins were perfect! The water pump rendered great water, the propane stove/oven and propane fridge worked perfectly! There was plenty of firewood and plenty of cooking/eating utensils. The ONLY thing I could suggest would be a big BOLD warning to not follow GPS, but take the dirt road straight south from Wymer. I followed my GPS and it took me south on 27 from Alpena, to a road (463) which was gated by the National Forest. I will definitely book the cabins again! It rained the entire time we were there so we left the tarp we had erected near the fire so the next renters may be able to enjoy the fire as we did.
