IT WAS FAR UP! Hard on our car, but we had a great time! I’ll do it again.

Amazing! Very remote and beautiful! 30 mi from the closest "tiny" town and way up in the mountains. Drove without service pretty much the entire way up there, about 1.5 hours. To say you are on your own is an understatement. For my tastes, this place is truly Paradise. We saw a bunch of deer in the evening and a bunch more in the early morning. The stars were incredible and we even heard coyotes. The cabin itself is cozy and clean with plenty of firewood in the shed to the north. Very awesome! Definitely coming back to this one!

Great place to get away. Beautiful scenery. I’m glad we brought extra lanterns because there was no lighting. The stove kept the cabin warm at night. Paradise Park And Julian Park Reservoirs were both completely empty. I wish we’d known that before we booked our weekend because we wanted to fish. All in all it was clean and cozy and there was plenty of firewood.
