Excellent experience. Skiing was amazing. Cabin is really cool, just be prepared to share it with the local mice community.

This cabin is isolated but worth it if you have some decent snowmobiles to access it. Follow the sign for Ninko cabin, you’ll have to squeeze around a closed gate (or at least we did) to access the road up to it. The cabin is well maintained and has a separate out house. Wood is provided but you’ll have to replenish it so plan to bring your own as well like we did. It warms up nicely and the propane stove/oven works well for cooking. Note: if the propane isn’t working there is a master valve below the cabin. For us it was off when we arrived, but quick to turn on. We’d like to thank the forest service for making this cabin available to the public in the winter.
