Super fun place to reserve for your group. 5 distinct camp sites with one area for a central gathering spot. The sites are even fairly private from each other. The bathroom was nice and clean. The water comes from a hand pump and is very, very rusty. It comes out quite orange. Bring your own water. Access to the Silver Creek is across the road, and sometimes you have to make your way through the undeveloped campsites. It's a beautiful area and a nice place to camp with several families.

The campground was beautiful. Just the perfect spot for our group of 40. The down side was the water availability. The potable water was not drinkable. The mineral content was so high that it tasted horrible. Not sure if it was a rusty pipe or just the groundwater. You couldn’t even cover up the nasty taste with flavor packets.

We had two large rigs, two medium rigs and two smaller rigs. Lots of room for the six units.

Bring your own water. The well head is so old that even after pumping out gallons of water, it still had rust in it. Our dogs wouldn't even drink it. A new well pump is only about what they charge for a month stay, so it's not like they couldn't afford to replace it. Stay away from the tail going out the back of the camp ground. That area is infected with ground wasps. If you ever seen a movie about killer bees that attack and follow victims, That was based on a ground hornet. In the process of stinging they mark you with a chemical odor that makes it easy for other wasps to find you. If you run, they will chase you and they are faster than you. Yellow jackets and paper wasps will not chase you very far, unless you have destroyed their nest. Hornets can chase you up to 300 feet (100m). We had several kids and dogs get sting multiple times. We were lucky and had kits with Benadryl. Nice quiet place to stay, but not interested in paying that kind of money for a site with water that can't be used and ground wasps stinging the grandkids every again.

Showed up and the gate was locked. Called camp host, left voicemails, stayed in service a bit longer, no reply. Called rec.gov, 0 help there and no sympathy or apologies for the situation. Ruined the trip entirely
