The perfect place to unplug for a night! There was plenty of firewood and the cabin was so cozy. The outhouse was clean (by outhouse standards) and we had everything we needed. We even spooked a cow moose when we arrived in the brush behind the cabin!

This has been one of our favorite cabins to stay in so far, and we’ve stayed in lots. There was kid friendly hiking, a fun creek to play in, fun cook stove and a wood-stove in the sleeping area too. Everything except the closet was clean, and they had dealt aggressively with mice. We didn’t even see one. Fun to have electricity too. We really loved the hiking in this area. We stayed when there wasn’t snow, and so we got to be outside a lot. Super cool rock formations, ridges with good views, and it is really easy to get to. Hoping to go back soon.

Fanciest FS cabin out there! FULL electricity - lights, stove, fridge, outlets! Super clean! Tons of food to split in the FS shed! Highly recommend for a quick get away. NO snow to ski sadly :(

A forest service cabin with an electric stove, fridge and lights?!? WOW! Plus, the location was easy to get to, mouse free, quiet and with a small creek flowing nearby. Absolute heaven. We'll be back!!!! The only negative was that we couldn't get the hand pump to pump any water but we came prepared with drinking water.
