I couldn't even make it to the cabin because, unbeknownst to me, the last 12 miles or so of road were not only unpaved, but also ravaged with potholes and rocks. I was driving a rental car, and the combined 24 miles to and from would likely have damaged the vehicle far beyond the cost of the cabin rental, so I ended up just eating the cost and getting a hotel instead. I really don't like to leave one-star reviews, and I'm sure the cabin itself is fine, but it would have been nice to be forewarned of the abysmal road conditions, which do not seem to be mentioned on the park site.

heaters did not work, lights put out some heat, until the co2 detector went off. Fire pit was the warmest place to be. We paid for two nights but only stayed for one.
