The station is beautiful and we loved the way it has been restored. I last visited it as a kid when rangers worked there. The location is gorgeous with lots of recreational options. However, this was my birthday treat and it was so dirty that I spent much of our time cleaning mouse dirt from the pots and pans, and sweeping masses of dead flies out of the windows so we could eat and sleep there. For the price that should not have been necessary.
