Enjoyed the camping after a rough start and having to speak with the park manager.

Good place for a group camping, only wish we had a table closer to where the campers are!

Boat Gunnel is a camping experience like no other. There is space for 4 RVs and several tent sites. Cave Run Lake is a short walk from the shelter. The lake is beautiful and perfect for fishing, kayaking and boating. The shelter has 6 large picnic tables with electric outlets and lighting. A large parking lot for the kids to ride bikes, scooters or any other activities. I love to camp here. Perfect for family reunions or large family gatherings. This is the ultimate camping experience and probably the reason it is so hard to get reservations, especially weekends. If you get the opportunity to camp here, do it!
